First terminate all the processes related to Quick heal..
remember the quick heal icon should not appear in the taskbar..
Quick heal should be completely turned off

CLick start > Run
Type msconfig and press enter
go to the sartup tab
and uncheck all the programs related to Quick heal
_____________________________________________________________
then restart your computer
paste the crack in the Quick heal directory and patch it
_____________________________________________________________

Have Quick heal till death
